honest and
up-front I will
share with you
that this
gorgeous,
wonderfully
customized and
low mile rig had
some body damage
early in its
life nearly 10
years ago, in
2000. If you
exit now, you
will miss out on
a very special
rig that does
not deserve to
be dismissed
simply due to an
indication on
the carfax
report of prior
damage.
PLEASE READ:
I
was born and
raised around
premium
auto-body shops
in Portland (3
of them owned by
my family) and I
can promise you
that all
vehicles with
body repair
history do not
need or deserve
to be dismissed.
And in fact, due
to the way
insurance
companies
function, some
rigs that don't
have notes on
the title have
actually had
more damage than
others that do.
Unfortunately
there are some
folks who do
horrible repairs
and that gives
the body repair
industry a bad
name and leads
to justified
fear for buyers.
In 2000 when the
beautiful,
extensive and
costly custom
work was done on
this, it was
part of a
project of
repairing body
damage. The work
was done in a
body shop owned
by a family
friend, who had
30 years
experience when
he repaired and
customized this
rig for his
middle-age
daughter. That
was nearly 10
years ago and
the rig is still
stunning and
super functional
with no signs of
prior repair.
LOVED IT FOR
MORE THAN A
YEAR:
With my life of
having been
raised around
body shops and
being an expert
at evaluating
prior repairs,
I bought this
for myself and
have used it and
loved it for a
year. This has
included some
towing and
driving in all
sorts of
conditions,
including from
10-105 degrees,
in the city and
the country and
even up and down
big mountain
passes with a
trailer behind.
I
can assure you
this is an
awesome,
stunningly
gorgeous and
wonderfully
functional,
one-of-a-kind
rig. I intended
to keep it for a
long time. The
only reason I am
selling it is
because I need
to invest the
value of it into
my business. I
will feel a bit
sad to see it
go, because I
love it and it
has been a super
rig.
